David was invited by Anotherview art collective to bring their concept of Trattoria Altra Vista to life, a pioneering immersive experience that merges the essence of culinary traditions with a typical Italian flair and views. Leveraging David’s deep-seated memories and admiration for Italian trattorias, this concept delivers an authentic dive into nostalgia and culinary authenticity.

The essence of a Trattoria lies in its history and in the stories of the generations that have passed there. It lies in tradition, family, local products, and grandmother’s secret recipes. Therefore, the pure essence of a Trattoria can’t be replicated quickly, which is why we idealized it and staged it, as in a theatre or a movie, with its grand entrance, the red curtains, and décor inspired by the commedia dell’arte, where visitors and diners become involuntary actors in a romantic and hyper-realistic experience.
